Description

A1410 PULSAR — universal, couplant-free ultrasonic pulse velocity tester

A compact and robust instrument for reliable ultrasonic testing of concrete and other construction materials in the field and in the laboratory. The A1410 PULSAR combines dry-point-contact technology with high-performance electronics to deliver accurate pulse-velocity measurements without the need for coupling gel.

  1. Couplant-free testing

Dry-point-contact transducers with wear-resistant ceramic tips provide reliable measurements without coupling gel, even on rough and uneven concrete surfaces.

  2. Up to 2 m

High-power pulser and sensitive receiver enable through-transmission measurements over long paths in concrete elements up to 2 meters.

  3. 50 kHz

Low-frequency operation optimized for concrete and other construction materials, providing high signal stability and reliable results in field conditions.

  4. Pulsed-wave velocity

Accurate measurement of ultrasonic transit time and pulse velocity using longitudinal (P-wave) pulses for material assessment and quality control of concrete and other construction materials.

  5. 7-element DPC arrays

Durable ceramic-tipped transducers arranged in a daisy-wheel configuration ensure stable coupling, high measurement repeatability and practical operation on various surfaces.

  6. Compact and field-ready

Lightweight and ergonomic design for convenient handheld use. Powered by rechargeable batteries for long on-site operation.
